Rwanda gives free food and electricity to citizens during coronavirus lockdown

Rwanda has started sharing food for free. The country also makes free the distribution of electricity to all its citizens while waiting to eradicate the Coronavirus, according to Africa Facts.

Rwanda is one of the few African countries that have instituted complete or partial containment to contain the spread of the coronavirus.

These African countries include Ghana, Lesotho, South Africa and Rwanda. Although Lesotho has not had any cases of coronavirus, it has closed all of its borders and ports as a precaution.
Rwanda is one of the smallest countries in the world in terms of size and population. Rwanda has around 12 million people, which is a sizable number.

President Paul Kagame is considered the most pragmatic African leader of the past decade because of his efforts to lift Rwanda out of the ashes of poverty.

Rwanda registered 60 positive cases without death and imposed confinement.
