Luynes Sport Goalkeeper Sofiane Mahmoudi has been called up to the Algerian U17 national team for the upcoming Algeria U17 friendly matches.
The goalkeeper will be available for the U17 side of Algeria after successfully going through the requirements by the AFF (Algerian Football Federation).
” I am very happy to be here , everything went well for me in terms of integration, as I already knew some youth players here, so it is good for me and easier to adapt to the Algerian culture,” the 16 years old told the press.
Mahmoudi has since progressed steadily, earning a place at Luynes Sport FC in France this season.
Born in France he is directly of Algerian descent through his parents who are French-Algerian nationals.
