Towering former French U16 star Amor Ben Hariz featured in 90 Minutes of play for South Australia State League club Vipers FC against West Torrens Birkalla on Saturday.
The Southern Australian based club suffered a 4-1 defeat to West Torrens Birkalla after an intense game with goals from Ethan Stevenson 59′, Austyn Scambiatterra 49′, 19′, 14′ and a collelication goal for Vipers from Martinez Septoe 76′ (Pen.).
The 26-year-old, who joined Vipers FC from Australian side Adelaide Cobras FC, also made a good intervention which almost gave the visitors the lead after a powerful shot from him which was saved by the keeper of West Torrens Birkalla.
Despite the defeat, the former SkellefteÃ¥ FF player maintained his faith in his squad, ” We played hard and luck was not in favor with us today, we are going back to train harder for our next match, the team played well and the fans were amazing,” Hariz said.
Hariz is a former player of Eskilstuna City FK, Skellefteå FF and Vrigstad IF in Sweden. Internationally, he has represented the French National Under 16s squad with four official appearances to his name.
