The opening night of the NBO Film Festival 2019 was one of the biggest nights in Kenyan film in 2019. Here are a few images from the occasion.

The NBO Film Festival has quickly found itself at the centre of the film industry in Nairobi in the last three years it has been running. Nothing showed this as well as the evening of June 6 during the cocktail opening for the festival and Nairobi came out in support.

In that audience, alongside Lusala cast and crew, we espied everyone who works in films from actors to cast members of all types like directors Likarion Wainaina (Supa Modo), Wanuri Kahiu (Rafiki), Hawa Essuman (Soul boy), and Tosh Gitonga (Nairobi Half Life). There were many actors from film, TV, and theatre like Maqbul Mohammed, Ojiambo Ainea, Gerald Langiri, Jackie Vike, Ngartia, Abu Sense, and many more.

Here are images from the festival courtesy of our friends at Red Spot Media Group. Enjoy.
