We drop straight into the action just as  the war between Shakira and Donna is escalating. Rivals in the workplace – as boss of NZH Donna rules the roost and doesn’t hesitate to put Shakira in her place. What’s more, she’s now got her claws into Cole, Shakira’s ex. Has she underestimated just how conniving and ruthless Shakira can be? Looks like she’s pulling out all the stops to take them both down. Let the games begin!

Meanwhile, Daniel now out of prison, is trying to achieve redemption via the church. He has joined Maletsatsi’s (Palesa’s mother) prayer circle. But are his intentions as pure as they seem? Estranged son Mangi is watching the situation closely, as is Maletsatsi’s husband –and editor of the Voice – Eddie.  It’s no secret that Eddie isn’t Daniel’s biggest fan, so how will his suspicion affect his marriage? Instead of bringing them together, will the church tear this family apart?

Back at home, Palesa is battling her health…and her domineering mother-in-law. Why won’t she just leave her to raise her child in her own way?

There’s trouble also for Tino and Erin as her job takes her abroad and he is spending more and more time mentoring orphan Lucky. It may take something dramatic to save their relationship.
