The Africa Channel loves Isidingo, the cracking, multi-award winning soap from South Africa. Launched in 1998, it’s set in Johannesburg’s fictional ON TV Studios and the mining village of Horizon Deep.
Isidingo is a drama series that sets out to reflect South Africa’s diverse people – their struggles, their debates, their concerns, their fears, their reasons to celebrate – back at themselves.
Horizon Deep is a gold mining community somewhere in the Far West Rand, near enough to the metropolis to be affected by national events, just far enough removed from it to generate its own unique identity.
Well-researched and tightly representative of the people who compulsively watch it, Isidingo breaks the bounds of soap opera by insisting continually on the reality of its stories.

I see from your listings that Isidingo is dropping to two episodes from this week. What’s going on, this show airs five eps a week in SA?!
why are you giving more airtime to the other shows Scandal and Tinsle and cutting Isidingo down to two episodes a week? those shows arn’t a patch on Isidingo. Isidingo deserves to be on every day until we are up to date with south africa as we are already nearly 2 years behind

are we heading yet again backwards as the last 2 showings on thursday were old episides
hope not as you were doing so well showing us new episodes every time – although we are still down to 2 per week
please let it run smoothly as last time it went out on a loop it was over 6 mths before we had new episodes

So I get thrust into the Isidingo world on the Africa Channel and now all these old episodes & reruns??? I can’t follow. Does anyone know when new episodes come on the Africa Channel (133) in Chicago? I love this show now and don’t know what/when to record…

whats happened to the episode that should be on tonight? are we now down to only 1 episode per week? is isidingo going to disappear the same way as Generations did a while ago? this is not fair to the faithful that follow this show all the time. get your finger out and sort it once and for all – i for one am sick and tired of old episodes and missing episodes and excuses about what really is going on. the repeats have been showing since january and its now middle of march – just how long does it take to get new episodes on air
don’t know about any other viewers, but i was so thrilled to see we had a new new episode to watch last night

Where and when are you now running Isidingo. Need my fix. Been here for month and not see it once, despite trying to record on Sunday whilst out.
